Under Dr. Feldstein's leadership, ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ 2025: A Path to Greater Excellence strengthened the College's academic, clinical and research enterprises; positioned students for success in a competitive healthcare landscape; empowered faculty and staff through innovation; and reinforced the institutional foundation for sustained growth. As ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ looks ahead, the College remains focused on advancing academic excellence, innovation and its impact on the future of healthcare and the communities it serves.

  • This year, we mark the 20th anniversary of ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ Georgia.
  • At ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ South Georgia, the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program expanded its class size from 55 to 97 students to meet regional needs.
  • The DO Class of 2025 achieved a 99 percent postgraduate placement rate.
  • Forty-six residents and fellows completed training across 10 ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ Graduate Medical Education programs.
  • The PsyD in School Psychology program earned full accreditation from the National Association of School Psychologists.

  • Across its DO and health professions programs, ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ logged more than 9,600 clinical placement sites—a 47.5% increase since 2020.
  • Clinical education expanded with opportunities at Meritus Medical Center in Maryland and Core Clinical Campuses at Inspira Health in New Jersey and Piedmont Eastside Hospital in Georgia.

  • Faculty, students, and residents shared their discoveries in 292 posters at Research Day (2025).
  • The medical cannabis research team launched new studies focused on the use of medical cannabis for anxiety disorders, patterns of use, and public and professional perspectives.
  • Workday was implemented as ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ's new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, modernizing core processes and strengthening operational efficiency across the institution.

  • Upgrades and renovations advanced in Hassman Academic Center and the newly renamed Student Success Center in Philadelphia.
  • ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ Dining Commons introduced mobile and kiosk ordering, a 24-hour marketplace, and refreshed seating. At ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ Georgia, cafeteria enhancements expanded food options and improved convenience.

  • ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ secured nearly $4.5 million in new research funding, contributing to a 57.3% increase in total research funding since 2020.
  • The gun violence research team received a three-year grant from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, expanding education for healthcare professionals and behavioral health support through ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ Family Medicine.
  • By June 2025, the United & Ignited Campaign had raised more than $55.1 million toward its $65 million goal through 7,170 gifts. In March 2025, the Campaign received its largest outright gift—$1 million from Clyde and Sandra Strickland to establish an endowed doctoral scholarship supporting students from Gwinnett County Public Schools in ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ Georgia's osteopathic medicine, pharmacy and physical therapy programs.
