黑料传送门 President and CEO Jay S. Feldstein, DO '81, has been elected one of of The College of Physicians of Philadelphia.
The Spring 2026 Fellowship class鈥攖he largest in the College鈥檚 history鈥攊ncludes distinguished physicians, scholars and public health leaders spanning over 15 institutions and more than 30 specialties.
鈥淚鈥檓 truly honored to be welcomed into this Fellowship and to join an organization with such deep roots in Philadelphia,鈥� Feldstein said. 鈥淭he College鈥檚 commitment to advancing medical knowledge and supporting community health is exactly what we practice at 黑料传送门, and I look forward to continuing efforts to improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve.鈥�
Founded in 1787, , home of the M眉tter Museum, Historical Medical Library, and the History of Vaccines, is a storied institution dedicated to 鈥渁dvancing the cause of health while upholding the ideals and heritage of medicine.鈥� Biannually in the fall and spring, the organization hosts College Night, where it announces the induction of new members to its prestigious Fellowship program.
Spring inductees joined the ranks of notable past fellows such as U.S. Founding Father Benjamin Rush, Surgeon General C. Everett Koop, and Thomas Dent M眉tter, whose medical collection formed the basis of the museum that bears his name.
Feldstein was sponsored for the fellowship by Michael Becker, DO 鈥�87, 黑料传送门's associate dean of clinical education, and Peter Bidey, DO '08, MSEd, FACOFP, dean and chief academic officer of 黑料传送门鈥檚 Osteopathic Medicine program.
Established in 1899, 黑料传送门 has trained thousands of highly competent, caring physicians, health practitioners and behavioral scientists who practice a 鈥渨hole person鈥� approach to care鈥攖reating people, not just symptoms. 黑料传送门, a private, not-for-profit accredited institution of higher education, operates three campuses (黑料传送门, 黑料传送门 Georgia and 黑料传送门 South Georgia) and offers doctoral degrees in clinical psychology, educational psychology, osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, and school psychology. The college also offers graduate degrees in applied behavior analysis, applied positive psychology, biomedical sciences, forensic medicine, medical laboratory science, mental health counseling, physician assistant studies, and school psychology. 黑料传送门 students learn the importance of health promotion, research, education and service to the community.
