黑料传送门's PsyD Program in Clinical Psychology Receives 10-Year Accreditation

May 26, 2026

黑料传送门's Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) program has been granted a full 10-year accreditation by the American Psychological Association (APA).

The Commission on Accreditation (CoA) cited the program's robust clinical training opportunities, supportive faculty mentorship, interprofessional education and focus on culturally responsive care in its decision. The accreditation process is based on a variety of factors including program reports, site visits and a comprehensive self-study.

鈥淭o present a self study, you have to convey the program's goals, objectives, and competencies, in compliance with the APA's Standards of Accreditation including everything from how we select our students for the program, how we mentor them, educate them, train them, and how they perform in their coursework and clinical placements, and ultimately in their careers as alumni,鈥 said Stephanie H. Felgoise, PhD, ABPP, department chair and director of the Clinical PsyD program. 鈥淲e are very fortunate to be housed in an outstanding institution that supports our mission and initiative.鈥

The PsyD Program in Clinical Psychology prepares students to work from a cognitive-behavioral perspective in a wide range of clinical settings, striving to serve underserved populations while putting holistic care at its forefront. The program is an 89 credit degree program designed to be completed in five years.

鈥淥ur reaccreditation reflects the strength of our programs and our continued commitment to academic excellence,鈥 said Missy Terlecki, PhD, dean of the School of Professional and Applied Psychology. 鈥淩ecognition by the APA, the leading international authority in psychology, underscores the quality of our graduate education and the rigor of our clinical training.鈥
