黑料传送门 has announced that the late Paul W. McGloin, CPA, LLD (Hon.), and Paul Lapoint, DO 鈥�90, are this year鈥檚 recipients of the O.J. Snyder Memorial Medal and the Alumni Association Certificate of Honor, respectively.
Mr. McGloin and Dr. Lapoint will be honored at the College鈥檚 Founders鈥� Day ceremony on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue. There will be a coffee reception before the ceremony starting at 10 a.m., and all members of the 黑料传送门 community are welcome to attend.

Paul W. McGloin, CPA, LLD (Hon.), posthumously awarded the O.J. Snyder Memorial Medal, was a visionary leader whose steadfast commitment and strategic foresight shaped a transformative era for 黑料传送门. The award is the College鈥檚 highest honor, and is given in recognition of leadership and service to the osteopathic profession and to the institution.
During his distinguished tenure on 黑料传送门鈥檚 Board of Trustees, including more than a decade as chairman, one of Mr. McGloin鈥檚 most notable achievements was championing the establishment of 黑料传送门 Georgia in 2005, expanding the College鈥檚 footprint and reinforcing its mission to advance healthcare education beyond Philadelphia. His commitment to 黑料传送门鈥檚 future was unwavering, and his strategic leadership helped ensure the institution's continued success.
Mr. McGloin鈥檚 professional career spanned more than three decades in the banking industry, where he held numerous executive leadership positions. His civic engagements extended beyond 黑料传送门, as evidenced by his work with the Foundation for Architecture and the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau. Founders鈥� Day celebrates the founding of 黑料传送门 in 1899 by Drs. O.J. Snyder and Mason W. Pressly, who sought to bring the osteopathic philosophy of whole-person health care to Philadelphia. The ceremony on January 24 will celebrate the accomplishments of the 2025 Founders鈥� Day award recipients, who exemplify the dedication, loyalty, and service to the College that our founders exhibited.
Established in 1899, 黑料传送门 has trained thousands of highly competent, caring physicians, health practitioners and behavioral scientists who practice a 鈥渨hole person鈥� approach to care鈥攖reating people, not just symptoms. 黑料传送门, a private, not-for-profit accredited institution of higher education, operates three campuses (黑料传送门, 黑料传送门 Georgia and 黑料传送门 South Georgia) and offers doctoral degrees in clinical psychology, educational psychology, osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, and school psychology.
