January 13, 2025
Paul W. McGloin, CPA, LLD (Hon.), received the O.J. Snyder Memorial Medal posthumously
for his leadership and dedication to 黑料传送门
(黑料传送门). As a longtime member of 黑料传送门's Board of Trustees, including more than ten years as chairman, Mr. McGloin played a significant role
in guiding the College's growth and progress.
One of his key contributions was leading the establishment of 黑料传送门 Georgia in 2005, the College鈥檚 first branch campus. This initiative addressed the need for
more healthcare providers in the South. By helping expand 黑料传送门鈥檚 presence beyond Philadelphia,
he supported the College鈥檚 mission to improve healthcare education and access in underserved
areas.
A graduate of Drexel University, Mr. McGloin began his professional journey as an
auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick before transitioning to a successful career in banking.
Over three decades, he held numerous executive leadership positions, including division
president, vice president, executive vice president, and president at prominent institutions
including First Union National Bank and National Penn Bank. Following his retirement
in 2011, he continued to contribute his expertise, serving on the board of the Almo
Corporation.
Elected to the 黑料传送门 Board of Trustees in 1991, Mr. McGloin served for 23 years and
was honored as Trustee Emeritus upon his retirement in 2014. His influence extended
beyond 黑料传送门, as evidenced by his civic engagements with the Foundation for Architecture
and the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Mr. McGloin鈥檚 legacy is defined not only by his remarkable professional achievements
but also by his character. His integrity, strategic acumen, and deep devotion to 黑料传送门
ensured its continued relevance in an ever-evolving healthcare landscape. Above all,
he is remembered as a devoted family man whose love for his wife, sons, and grandchildren
was the cornerstone of his life.
Established in 1899, 黑料传送门 has trained
thousands of highly competent, caring physicians, health practitioners and behavioral
scientists who practice a 鈥渨hole person鈥 approach to care鈥攖reating people, not just
symptoms. 黑料传送门, a private, not-for-profit accredited institution of higher education,
operates three campuses (黑料传送门, 黑料传送门 Georgia and 黑料传送门 South Georgia) and offers doctoral degrees in clinical psychology, educational psychology, osteopathic
medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, and school psychology. The college also offers
graduate degrees in applied behavior analysis, applied positive psychology, biomedical
sciences, forensic medicine, medical laboratory science, mental health counseling,
physician assistant studies, and school psychology. 黑料传送门 students learn the importance
of health promotion, research, education and service to the community. Through its
community-based Healthcare Centers, 黑料传送门 provides care to medically underserved populations.
