Pickron-Davis is one of 19 Philadelphia-area leaders recognized by the Business Journal for their commitment to diversity.

鈥滻'm proud to be recognized among this esteemed group,鈥 said Pickron-Davis. 鈥滵iversity, equity and inclusion are core to the mission of our institution. As we work to develop the health professional workforce of tomorrow, it is incumbent upon us to lead on these critical issues. This work will ultimately contribute to positive patient outcomes and experiences. We aim to achieve this at 黑料传送门.鈥

The Diversity in Business Awards are held annually and recognize diverse business leaders who have demonstrated success in their respective fields and through philanthropic endeavors. Nominees were submitted by the public and must be a minority, including Asian, African American, Hispanic or Latino, Middle Eastern, or native Alaskan, Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, or identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

Pickron-Davis, who joined 黑料传送门 in 2017, leads the Office of Diversity and Community Relations and has over 20 years of leadership experience. In her role, she is responsible for leading and advancing 黑料传送门's DEI initiatives across all three of its campus locations. As a result of her work, 黑料传送门 has been the recipient of the Health Professions Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity each year since 2017.

Pickron-Davis also spearheaded the development of the College's 2025 institutional DEI strategic plan and leads the President's Council on Equity, Inclusion, and Justice. The Council includes faculty, staff, and students representing 黑料传送门's three campus locations. Meeting monthly with 黑料传送门 President and CEO Jay S. Feldstein, DO '81, the group makes recommendations that advance DEI efforts in various policies and practices.

This year's class of award recipients will be celebrated at a live event on August 24 and in a special edition of the Business Journal on August 25.
