黑料传送门 Celebrates Success, Reimagined, with New Student Center

鈥淎ny time we're all together as a family, you can't beat it,鈥 said Jay S. Feldstein, DO '81, president and CEO of 黑料传送门, as he welcomed the College community to celebrate the reopening of the Student Success Center in Philadelphia.

After months of comprehensive renovations, 黑料传送门 faculty and staff hosted a kickoff event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil the 55,000-square-foot student-informed design that prioritizes flexibility and accessibility with vibrant colors and artwork throughout.

鈥淎s we discussed the renovations to this building, we knew that we wanted to focus on the whole student,鈥 Feldstein said. 鈥淲e wanted to provide each and every 黑料传送门 student with opportunities to achieve academic, professional and emotional health.鈥

Feldstein emphasized that the project was funded by generous contributions of alumni and friends through the , led by Carrie Collins, JD, PhD, Chief Advancement and Strategic Planning Officer, who also spearheaded the building's redesign.

鈥淚t is because of the unwavering support of our donors that we are able to create more spaces
that enrich our students' lives,鈥 Collins said. 鈥淭he Student Success Center embodies our commitment to supporting the whole person, ensuring that our students have the resources and community they need to thrive.鈥

The Student Success Center brings together a diverse range of resources under one roof:

  • Academic support services and testing accommodations
  • Inclusive study environments
  • Personal, career and academic advising
  • And existing physical fitness and social activities, such as the basketball court, fitness center and lounge spaces

鈥淔rom creating more study spaces to offering us more places to meet and relax, the Student Success Center is going to have a tremendously positive impact on students,鈥 said Paige Schlechter (DO '28), president of the Student Government Association, emphasizing that the best part about the renovations are the extended hours of operation. 鈥淚 know students are so looking forward to being able to use the Student Success Center every single day.鈥

The updated center will offer extended hours, remaining open later into the evenings and on weekends.
