Feldstein Named Among PA's Most Influential

黑料传送门 President and CEO, Jay Feldstein, DO '81, was named as a top 100 influencer in Pennsylvania黑料传送门 President and CEO, Jay S. Feldstein, DO 鈥81, was recently named by City & State PA as one of 100 of Pennsylvania鈥檚 most influential leaders in health care and higher education.

The yearly rankings developed by City & State PA, a multi-media news agency covering Pennsylvania鈥檚 state and local political scene, highlight the state鈥檚 key decision makers and other influential leaders. Earning listings in the 2022 City & State PA Power 100 lists in the categories of Higher Education and Health Care, Dr. Feldstein鈥檚 steady and skillful leadership has led the College through one of the most challenging periods in its history.

Higher Education Power 100

In the category of Higher Education, Dr. Feldstein is named among 鈥渢he individuals who are redefining what it means to be a leader in this field.鈥 Describing his leadership of 黑料传送门, Dr. Feldstein 鈥渉as overseen eight years of growth and equity initiatives at 黑料传送门, including its participation in Accelerate Health Equity, a coalition of area health systems tackling Philadelphia鈥檚 longstanding health disparities.鈥

Health Care Power 100

In the category of Health Care, Dr. Feldstein and his peers are recognized for, among other things, 鈥減reparing the state, their institutions and the public for a better, more health-secure future.鈥 The list recognizes 鈥渢he public officials, health care executives, innovators, academics, advocates and activists 鈥 and their roles in taking care of us.鈥 Dr. Feldstein鈥檚 stewardship of the College鈥檚 finances, including the Primary Care Innovation Fund, as well as his leadership on issues of diversity are also recognized: 鈥淔eldstein guides the college鈥檚 business and finances, including the Primary Care Innovation Fund, the college鈥檚 first venture capital fund, which invests $5 million annually in primary care entrepreneurship and innovation. For his work on diversity issues, Feldstein, an emergency physician, was honored last year with the American Osteopathic Association鈥檚 inaugural Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Unification Award.鈥
