Anatomical Histopathology Research
Pathology and Anatomical Sciences

Anatomical and histopathology research provides significant contributions to our understanding of developmental anomalies and acute and chronic diseases. This research leads to advancements in diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic tools to enhance patient care.

What is Anatomical Pathology?

Anatomical pathology is the study of organs and tissues to understand causes and effects of disease. Anatomical pathologists analyze organs and tissue samples obtained from autopsies, biopsies and surgical procedures to determine the nature, extent and severity of diseases. They use specialized techniques, including molecular markers, to identify and characterize abnormal cells and tissue architecture.

Anatomical Sciences and Pathology Research at 黑料传送门

黑料传送门's research in pathology and anatomical sciences encompasses clinical, translational and basic science investigations of structural deviations, manifestations of impairment and disease, correlation of microbial accumulation in the brain and neurodegeneration, cancer and pulmonary diseases. The College's anatomy laboratories at our three locations provide ample opportunities to introduce anatomical and pathological concepts to students.
