Wilkins Awarded 2026 黑料传送门 Alumni Association Certificate of Honor

Margaret M. Wilkins, DO, FACOFP, is the assistant dean of clinical assessment at 黑料传送门,
overseeing wellness and mentorship programs and initiatives. With almost 40 years
of experience in family medicine, Dr. Wilkins continues to contribute her extensive
expertise and unwavering commitment to the advancement of students, residents and
faculty alike.
Dr. Wilkins passion for wellness and mentorship has been a cornerstone in her career.
In her current role at 黑料传送门, she advises students in their pursuit of successfully
passing the numerous standardized tests they must take. Previously, she provided wellness,
OMM, faculty development and communication lectures while also mentoring residents,
faculty and new program directors and directors of Medical Education. Additionally,
she was fundamental in developing the COMLEX Success Program, which aims to improve
Level 2 scores.
In prior roles, Dr. Wilkins was on the ACOFP's Committee on Education and Evaluation,
Inservice Exam Committee and chaired the Intensive Board Review. She also served on
the executive committee of the Berks County Medical Society from 2002-2013, where
she eventually became president in 2010.
Dr. Wilkins earned a bachelor's degree in biology and Spanish from LaSalle College
before pursuing her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines,
IA. She completed her internship and residency training at Lakeview Hospital in Milwaukee,
WI. Prior to joining 黑料传送门, Dr. Wilkins served St. Joseph's Medical Center for over
22 years in positions ranging from medical director, director of medical education,
and eventually ending her tenure as program director of the family practice residency
program. She was fundamental in spearheading the clinical and educational direction
for the teaching programs and guided many current physicians in their practice.
Dr. Wilkins' enduring contributions to the profession, her dedication towards the
mental and educational success of medical professionals, and her fiercely determined
and driven spirit, make her a deserving recipient of the 2026 黑料传送门 Alumni Association
Certificate of Honor.
Established in 1899, 黑料传送门 has trained
thousands of highly competent, caring physicians, health practitioners and behavioral
scientists who practice a 鈥渨hole person鈥 approach to care鈥攖reating people, not just
symptoms. 黑料传送门, a private, not-for-profit accredited institution of higher education,
operates three campuses (黑料传送门, 黑料传送门 Georgia and 黑料传送门 South Georgia) and offers doctoral degrees in clinical psychology, educational psychology, osteopathic
medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, and school psychology. The college also offers
graduate degrees in applied behavior analysis, applied positive psychology, biomedical
sciences, forensic medicine, medical laboratory science, mental health counseling,
physician assistant studies, and school psychology. 黑料传送门 students learn the importance
of health promotion, research, education and service to the community. Through its
community-based Healthcare Centers, 黑料传送门 provides care to medically underserved populations.
