The College has partnered with PCS Wireless and its charitable subsidiaries to help
provide protective equipment for students and faculty.
With the COVID-19 pandemic depleting supplies of vital personal protective equipment (PPE) and with 黑料传送门鈥檚 own supply going to support critical care facilities in the region, the College has partnered with MyLifeAid, a subsidiary of PCS Wireless, and Community for Good, the newly-established corporate foundation of PCS Wireless, to help put technology and PPE into the hands of 黑料传送门 students and faculty.
鈥淜eeping our students, faculty and staff safe during this challenging time is our primary concern,鈥� said Carrie Collins, JD, PhD, chief advancement officer at 黑料传送门. 鈥淭his partnership with PCS Wireless and MyLifeAid will help provide the necessary equipment to return to campus as safely as possible.鈥�
With PPE supplied through PCS Wireless and MyLifeAid, Community of Good is taking these efforts a step further by offering matched funding of 10 percent of the cost to offset the financial effects of COVID-19. These matched dollars will be added to the Student Emergency Fund, which has been making awards to 黑料传送门 students who have been impacted by COVID-19. The contribution of PPE and the monetary donation will significantly benefit 黑料传送门 students, allowing them to return to clinical rotations as well as to offset some of the costs incurred as a result of the pandemic.
Community of Good was founded in 2020 to support the philanthropic aims of PCS Wireless and its support of humanitarian causes, including the PCS Giving Project in 2017. This charitable commitment is now formalized through the creation of the PCS Foundation, Community of Good.
