黑料传送门 Strengthens Community Connections at Annual Community Day at Cambria

黑料传送门 brought warmth and wellness to North Philadelphia during its annual Community Day,
held on October 30 at the College鈥檚 .
Led by 黑料传送门鈥檚 Community Wellness Initiative (CWI), the event offered free health screenings and wellness resources for community members,
including blood pressure readings, family-friendly activities, food trucks, live music,
and giveaways. Students, faculty, and staff from across the College volunteered their
time to provide wellness education and hands-on support to local residents.
As part of CWI鈥檚 to 鈥攁 citywide initiative celebrating the nation鈥檚 upcoming 250th birthday鈥敽诹洗兔 donated
250 winter coats, hats, and gloves to help local communities prepare for the winter
season.
鈥淲ellness starts with meeting people where they are鈥攚hether that鈥檚 through education,
health services, or simply ensuring families have what they need to stay warm through
the winter,鈥 said Flo Byarms, director of 黑料传送门鈥檚 Community Wellness Initiative. 鈥淭hese Community Days bring tremendous
joy, not only to our neighbors, but also to our students, who experience the impact
of service and connection firsthand.鈥
黑料传送门鈥檚 Community Days are cornerstone events for the College鈥檚 , reflecting the institution鈥檚 deep-rooted presence in the Philadelphia community.
Through these gatherings, 黑料传送门 strengthens relationships with local residents, reduces
barriers to care, and provides meaningful opportunities for students to engage directly
with the communities they serve.
Established in 1899, 黑料传送门 has trained
thousands of highly competent, caring physicians, health practitioners and behavioral
scientists who practice a 鈥渨hole person鈥 approach to care鈥攖reating people, not just
symptoms. 黑料传送门, a private, not-for-profit accredited institution of higher education,
operates three campuses (黑料传送门, 黑料传送门 Georgia and 黑料传送门 South Georgia) and offers doctoral degrees in clinical psychology, educational psychology, osteopathic
medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, and school psychology. The college also offers
graduate degrees in applied behavior analysis, applied positive psychology, biomedical
sciences, forensic medicine, medical laboratory science, mental health counseling,
physician assistant studies, and school psychology. 黑料传送门 students learn the importance
of health promotion, research, education and service to the community. Through its
community-based Healthcare Centers, 黑料传送门 provides care to medically underserved populations.
