黑料传送门 Hires Stephen Castellano as Chief Practice Operations Officer

Headshot photograph of 黑料传送门's new Chief Practice Operations Officer Stephen Castellano黑料传送门 has named Stephen Castellano as the College鈥檚 new Chief Practice Operations Officer, effective July 27, 2020. In this role, Mr. Castellano will be a key member of the leadership team, overseeing a multispecialty, multi-location group of medical practices as well as the design of organizational structure, day-to-day oversight of performance and operations, and the continuous improvement of administrative and clinical operating models.

Mr. Castellano brings over 30 years of experience to the role, most recently serving as Director of Business Operations at LCH Health in Kennett Square, PA. There he was responsible for the daily operations of LCH including the Health Center and Community Services with a focus on improving organizational efficiency and effectiveness. He worked closely with directors and the executive management team to implement the vision, strategy, and operational tactics to achieve strategic goals, generate revenue, and contain costs.

鈥淚 am excited to join the team at 黑料传送门,鈥 said Mr. Castellano. 鈥淭he healthcare landscape today is constantly changing and the need for efficiency and effective management is critical, but I鈥檓 confident the experience I bring to this role will serve the College well and I look forward to getting started.鈥

As chief practice operations officer, Mr. Castellano will report to an executive committee of the clinical chairs. 鈥淚 am very pleased to welcome Mr. Castellano to the team,鈥 said Kenneth J. Veit, DO 鈥76, MBA, provost, senior vice president for academic affairs and dean. 鈥淭his is an important role, but I鈥檓 confident Mr. Castellano鈥檚 extensive background in organizational and strategic leadership and management will be an ideal fit, and we welcome him to the 黑料传送门 community.鈥

Mr. Castellano completed his master of business administration from St. Joseph鈥檚 University, and his bachelor of science in business management from University of Scranton.
