March 30, 2026
Headshot of Julianna Bidic (PsyD 鈥27)

Julianna Bidic (PsyD 鈥27) has always had a passion for working with children, adolescents, and their families, so matching in child clinical and pediatric psychology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania, felt like a dream come true.

鈥淥pening the email, I was ecstatic,鈥 Bidic said. 鈥淚 look forward to continuing to learn how to apply psychological principles to my chosen population in a setting that emphasizes interdisciplinary care.鈥

Throughout her time in the Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) program at 黑料传送门, Bidic credits the College鈥檚 comprehensive curriculum in therapy and assessment skills鈥攊ncluding readings, didactics, role-plays, and practicum experiences鈥攆or preparing her for success.

She also noted that the PsyD program鈥檚 supportive faculty and students helped shape her experience by providing advice and teaching valuable skills.

Bidic hopes to pursue a career as a pediatric psychologist in a medical setting but wants to keep the door open to other opportunities such as owning a private practice or teaching.

Her advice to incoming students is two-fold: 鈥淔irst, do not be hesitant to ask questions. The 黑料传送门 faculty is incredibly supportive,鈥 she said. 鈥淪econd, I would tell first-year students to become connected with their classmates. I feel very blessed that my cohort is close! We come to each other for advice, laughs, and support, and I could not be more thankful for that.鈥
