黑料传送门 President and CEO Jay S. Feldstein, DO 鈥�81, was today named to the Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee
(PTAC) of the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO).

Congress established PTAC in 2015 to provide comments and recommendations to the Secretary of Health and Human Services on physician payment models. The Comptroller General is responsible for appointing members to the committee. The terms of the appointments made today will expire in 2023.
鈥淧TAC鈥檚 assessment of physician-focused payment models, along with its recommendations to the Secretary of Health and Human Services, are helping to guide Medicare鈥檚 transition to value-based care. We had many highly qualified candidates apply for positions on the Committee this year, and I believe that these latest appointments will bring valuable experience and perspectives to the Committee鈥檚 work,鈥� said Gene L. Dodaro, Comptroller General of the United States and head of the U.S. Government Accountability Office.

The Government Accountability Office, known as the investigative arm of Congress, is an independent, nonpartisan agency that exists to support Congress in meeting its constitutional responsibilities. GAO also works to improve the performance of the federal government and ensure its accountability to the American people.
