Collins Honored With City and State PA Above and Beyond Award

Carrie Collins, JD, PhDCarrie Collins, JD, PhD, Chief Advancement and Strategic Planning Officer at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (黑料传送门), has been recognized with City & State Pennsylvania鈥檚 , which honors 50 women who exhibit exemplary leadership in their fields and have made important contributions to society in business, public service, media, nonprofit or organized labor.

As a senior executive and cabinet member at 黑料传送门, Collins guides institutional growth through strategic planning, revenue generation, new business development, and philanthropy. She has led record-breaking annual fundraising goals, having secured the largest commitments in 黑料传送门鈥檚 history, as well as four consecutive years of record-high totals. She oversees the College鈥檚 alumni volunteer program that recorded 4,100 annual hours of service and the Community Wellness Initiative, which serves the communities surrounding all three 黑料传送门 locations.

Collins is also leading , the recently announced comprehensive fundraising campaign to accelerate academic excellence, expand clinical opportunities, and enhance student experiences at 黑料传送门. So far, the campaign has raised $49 million of its $65 million goal.

鈥淎s a Pennsylvania native and lifelong resident, I鈥檓 extremely honored to be recognized alongside so many distinguished leaders who are improving the Commonwealth,鈥 Collins said. 鈥淭his award is especially meaningful to me because it spotlights role models for women who are advancing their careers and contributing to their communities.鈥

Collins plays an integral role in nonprofits and community groups regionally and nationally. She is a founding member of Chief, where she fosters cross-industry collaboration for women executives, helping to accelerate their journeys into the C-suite.

She is a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia and a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), the global nonprofit for advancement professionals. Collins also serves on the board of visitors for the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she received her JD, and the editorial board for the Journal of Education Advancement and Marketing.

Collins and fellow honorees are profiled in a and will be celebrated at an annual awards gala March 26.
