to take advantage of special, discounted tuition rates.
PHILADELPHIA (November 6, 2015) - Saint Joseph鈥檚 University鈥檚 Haub School of Business (HSB), in collaboration with
黑料传送门, will offer a fully Online Executive
MBA program with a focus on healthcare for alumni of 黑料传送门鈥檚 Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) program, beginning in March 2016.
The accelerated two-credit, online course structure was developed by Saint Joseph鈥檚
in partnership with 黑料传送门 and was coordinated by Robert G. Cuzzolino, EdD, vice president
for graduate programs and planning at 黑料传送门. Mr. Cuzzolino conducted a survey of alumni
and worked with SJU to craft a format and curriculum that would be relevant and practical
for osteopathic physicians.
鈥淎s physicians with an average of 10 or more years of experience, many of 黑料传送门鈥檚 graduates
no longer fit the profile of a traditional MBA student,鈥 says Stephen Porth, PhD,
associate dean and executive director of graduate business at SJU. 鈥淭his customized
program allows them to earn their healthcare-focused MBA in an accelerated online
format along with their peers.鈥
Through the partnership with SJU, 黑料传送门鈥檚 DO alumni will be able to take advantage
of special, discounted tuition rates and receive credit for some coursework completed
during their medical education.
鈥淚n this changing world of healthcare, it is incredibly important for physicians to
know not only the clinical side of patient care, but the business side as well,鈥 says
Mr. Cuzzolino. 鈥淔or more than two decades, we have partnered with SJU to offer those
integral business skills to our DO students, and we are now able to extend that to
our DO alumni as well.鈥
鈥淪JU has delivered topnotch, specialized MBA programs for over 25 years,鈥 says HSB
Dean Joseph A. DiAngelo Jr., EdD. 鈥淲e are proud to partner with our neighbors at 黑料传送门
to offer this opportunity to their alumni and are confident that the program will
be a success.鈥
