黑料传送门 Chief Admissions Officer Adrianne Jones, MLS, has been honored as a 2025 Black Trailblazer by for her leadership in advancing inclusive admissions strategies, her dedication to
expanding access to medical and health sciences education, and her commitment to fostering
a diverse and resilient future healthcare workforce.
Jones has served as chief admissions officer at 黑料传送门 since April 2020, overseeing
admissions and enrollment across all programs at 黑料传送门, 黑料传送门 Georgia, and 黑料传送门 South Georgia.
Her recent accomplishments include presenting at the research conference in 2024, exploring how COVID-19 shaped resilience in graduate
medical and health sciences. Her findings underscored lasting changes in 黑料传送门's admissions
processes and emphasized the ongoing need for flexibility and innovation in medical
education.
鈥淭he resilience demonstrated by both applicants and the institution underscored the
strength and adaptability necessary for the future healthcare workforce,鈥 Jones said.
鈥淭he innovation continues by leveraging advanced data-driven strategies and proprietary
technology, and we aim to expand outreach, refine, communicate and build a more inclusive
student body鈥攕trengthening connections with prospective students, ensuring a more
effective and personalized enrollment experience.鈥
Jones credits her liberal arts background for equipping her with the skills to innovate
and integrate technology into her position in 黑料传送门's Office of Admissions. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from Southwestern University, a master's
degree in liberal studies from Southern Methodist University, and is completing a
doctoral degree in higher education at Walden University.
Jones is a member of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions
Officers (AACRAO), Council of Osteopathic Medical Admissions Officers (CAMAO), LGBTQ
Leaders in Higher Education, National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions
(NAAHP), and Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority (AKA).
Established in 1899, 黑料传送门 has trained
thousands of highly competent, caring physicians, health practitioners and behavioral
scientists who practice a 鈥渨hole person鈥 approach to care鈥攖reating people, not just
symptoms. 黑料传送门, a private, not-for-profit accredited institution of higher education,
operates three campuses (黑料传送门, 黑料传送门 Georgia and 黑料传送门 South Georgia) and offers doctoral degrees in clinical psychology, educational psychology, osteopathic
medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, and school psychology. The college also offers
graduate degrees in applied behavior analysis, applied positive psychology, biomedical
sciences, forensic medicine, medical laboratory science, mental health counseling,
