PsyD in School Psychology student Kamryn McKinney (PsyD '26) was eager to find an internship that combined
practical experience with a strong commitment to community care. She discovered that
opportunity at Quintessential Health in Warrington, Pennsylvania, where she will spend
the next year strengthening her assessment and intervention skills.
鈥淨uintessential Health serves individuals of all ages and emphasizes education and
collaboration,鈥 McKinney said. 鈥淚'm confident this experience will shape me into a
well-rounded psychologist.鈥
The moment she learned she had matched, McKinney felt overwhelmed with gratitude, reflecting on the unwavering support of
her friends, family and colleagues. She credits 黑料传送门's School Psychology faculty with helping her reach this milestone.
鈥淚 feel incredibly grateful for my school psychology family at 黑料传送门. From the beginning of my journey in this program, the faculty here
have shown their encouragement and dedication to my personal and professional growth.
Not only have I felt consistent support from my professors, but they also fostered
a comfortable and welcoming environment, enhancing my graduate school experience.
Their ongoing encouragement and guidance have played a pivotal role in shaping the
clinician I am becoming, and I wouldn't be here without them!鈥
As she embarks on this next chapter, McKinney is excited to take the knowledge and
experiences she's gained at 黑料传送门 and apply them in a setting that values education, collaboration and compassionate
care.
Her advice to first-year students? 鈥淣othing worth having comes easy. It will all be
worth it.鈥
