黑料传送门 participated in the remembrance of September 11 with a ceremony hosted by the
Student Association of Military Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (SAMOPS), honoring
the lives lost 16 years ago in the largest terror attacks on U.S. soil.
Gregory Khan-Arthur, DO, LTC, USAF MC, an internal medicine physician and pain specialist at the James E. Van Zandt Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the Lebanon Veterans Affairs Medical Center, led a moment of silence, and then spoke of his first-hand experience at Ground Zero on September 11. He also noted how his training as an osteopathic physician shaped his experience that day.
鈥淎fter the plane hit the second tower, I had an overwhelming need to go and be there,鈥� he said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a day that we all remember all who were lost, and how it changed the trajectory of American history, and even global history.鈥�
