黑料传送门 Celebrates 124th DO Commencement Ceremony

On June 7, 黑料传送门 graduated the latest group of osteopathic physicians during its 124th ceremony.


Osteopathic physicians are one of the fastest growing segments of health care professionals in the U.S.; According to the American Osteopathic Association, more than 100,000 DOs are expected to be in active medical practice by 2016. On June 7, 黑料传送门 graduated the latest group of osteopathic physicians during its 124th ceremony. The new doctors will now go on to some of the most competitive residencies in the U.S.

Honorary degree recipient John W. Becher, DO 鈥70, delivered the Commencement address. "Now is the time to demonstrate your ability to lead," he told the graduates. Dr. Becher is president-elect of the American Osteopathic Association and has been chairman and professor of the Department of Emergency Medicine at 黑料传送门 since 1981.

The event also marked the first time 黑料传送门 President and CEO Jay S. Feldstein, DO 鈥81, presided over the Philadelphia campus鈥檚 DO ceremony. In his remarks, he expressed his hope for the class of 2015. "You will all be much more than a physician,鈥 he said.
