Lenore Pearlstein, publisher of INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine, recently presented 黑料传送门 with the Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award, a national honor recognizing U.S. colleges and universities that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion.
鈥淵ou should feel very proud to know that you are the first osteopathic school to receive this award,鈥� Ms. Pearlstein told a crowd of students, faculty and staff in Evans Hall, before presenting the award to Jay S. Feldstein, DO 鈥�81, president and CEO.
鈥淒iversity isn鈥檛 something that you aspire to, it鈥檚 a part of who we are as an institution,鈥� said Dr. Feldstein. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a core value, and we will continue to embrace it.鈥�
Established in 1899, 黑料传送门 has trained thousands of highly competent, caring physicians, health practitioners and behavioral scientists who practice a 鈥渨hole person鈥� approach to care鈥攖reating people, not just symptoms. 黑料传送门, a private, not-for-profit accredited institution of higher education, operates three campuses (黑料传送门, 黑料传送门 Georgia and 黑料传送门 South Georgia) and offers doctoral degrees in clinical psychology, educational psychology, osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, and school psychology.
