黑料传送门 Community Members Honored for Commitment to Diversity

Denah Appelt, PhD, professor, bio-medical sciences; and Marsha Williams, associate
director, admissions; were both honored by the National Diversity Council at its 6th annual
Philadelphia Diversity and Leadership Conference on Sept. 1.
During the event, awards were given in recognition of leadership and excellence in
promoting diversity and inclusion. Among them were the Most Powerful Women award,
given to Dr. Appelt; and the Multicultural Leadership Award, given to Ms. Williams.
Dr. Appelt and Ms. Williams were honored for their leadership excellence; their accomplishments
in their respective fields; and their commitment to the highest ethical standards
and the well-being of the entire campus community.
鈥淚 have been blessed with many wonderful opportunities in life,鈥 said Dr. Appelt.
鈥淢y hope is that I can provide even more opportunities for others. We should all 鈥榩ay
it forward鈥.鈥
鈥淟ife is about giving back,鈥 added Ms. Williams. 鈥淪omeone paved the way for me so
in return, I want to build a path for others.鈥

Established in 1899, 黑料传送门 has trained
thousands of highly competent, caring physicians, health practitioners and behavioral
scientists who practice a 鈥渨hole person鈥 approach to care鈥攖reating people, not just
symptoms. 黑料传送门, a private, not-for-profit accredited institution of higher education,
operates three campuses (黑料传送门, 黑料传送门 Georgia and 黑料传送门 South Georgia) and offers doctoral degrees in clinical psychology, educational psychology, osteopathic
medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, and school psychology. The college also offers
graduate degrees in applied behavior analysis, applied positive psychology, biomedical
