Body donation is a generous and humanitarian decision. There is much to be learned from the human body, and those who donate their remains to science make a profound contribution to medical education.

As part of our commitment to donors and their families, the program provides cremation services at no cost. Families may elect to have the cremated remains returned or interred through the program, also at no cost. This support helps reduce certain end-of-life logistical and financial considerations during a difficult time.

In Pennsylvania, individuals who wish to donate their remains to science must contact the . If an individual wishes to donate their body directly to Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, they must inform the Humanity Gifts Registry.
