After 14 years of work in the sports management industry as a small business owner providing consulting and data-driven scoring services, Michael Hall realized it was time for a change.
鈥淭he pandemic helped highlight the necessary career and personal changes I needed to make for my family and me to thrive,鈥� he said.
Those changes included a desire to explore what is best in people and to help others create the changes they need to live healthy and happy lives.
According to Hall, 黑料传送门鈥檚 Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) program aligned well with his interests and goals for the future.
鈥淭he program enabled me to have a family, work and life balance鈥攁nd pursue a master's degree that helped me change careers,鈥� he said. 鈥淚t also provided the opportunity to gain a solid knowledge base and the skills to pursue a doctoral-level degree.鈥�
Additionally, the program provided Hall with valuable exposure to many different areas and industries in which the MAPP skillset can improve the lives of others鈥攕kills he is eager to put to use.
鈥淭he MAPP program offers a tremendous opportunity to learn and grow as a person,鈥� Hall said. 鈥淭he biggest impact comes from applying the knowledge you have gained to be your best self and to spread empathic and compassionate care for your loved ones.鈥�
Hall cited the professional background of the professors, course content and collaborative nature of the program as contributing to his excitement and enthusiasm for the field of positive psychology.
鈥淭he MAPP program has been a wonderfully enriching experience, both personally and professionally,鈥� he said.
Hall credits his wife Kelly as being integral to his success by providing the loving support and care that has made it possible for him to pursue his educational and career goals.
鈥淭his program has opened many new doors in my life, and I look forward to opening them with my family to create a healthier and more positive way of being,鈥� Hall said. 鈥淚 am excited to put my MAPP skills to work, guiding others to see their strengths and positive abilities so that they can make the changes they desire, moving them toward their authentic happiness.鈥�
