Clinical psychology - General track. I chose the general track because it aligns with my overarching goals of becoming a well-rounded clinical psychologist.
Proud, excited and speechless!
Although I was initially attracted to the field of psychology from my observations and interactions with others, my passion in becoming a clinical psychologist is now stimulated by advocacy. I want to advocate for special populations such as those with acute and chronic medical and/or mental health conditions. I aspire to contribute to the integrity of the profession of psychology by influencing changes at systemic levels ranging from direct patient care to organizational development.
If I could give advice to a student starting out I鈥檇 say be flexible; stay open to feedback from professors and colleagues; remember self-care time is critical; and enjoy the learning experience!
