Shari Allen, PharmD, BCPP, is a Professor of Pharmacy practice at ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ's School of Pharmacy. She earned her doctor of pharmacy degree from Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and completed an ASHP accredited PGY-1 (General Practice) and PGY-2 (Psychiatry) residency at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center. At ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ School of Pharmacy, Dr. Allen teaches the mental health and neurology components of the therapeutics curriculum. She also maintains a clinical site at the Atlanta VA Medical Center in outpatient general mental health.

In addition to her work at ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ and the Atlanta VA, Dr. Allen is an active member of many pharmaceutical organizations such as the American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists and American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

In the classroom, at her hospital, and through public forums, Dr. Allen has a goal of educating and serving as a mental health expert for patients, caregivers, students and other health care professionals.
