MARY P. OWEN, JD, MS, PHD, CS 
Professor of Neuroscience, Physiology and Pharmacology

Mary P. Owen, JD, MS, PhD is a professor of pharmacology at the Georgia Campus - Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Owen grew up in Centre, Alabama and graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a BS in chemistry. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with an MS in cell and molecular biology and a PhD in pharmacology.

Following her post-doctoral studies at the University of California at Los Angeles Medical School, she taught pharmacology, physiology, and toxicology courses and conducted research at the University of California at Los Angeles Medical School, the University of Vermont School of Medicine, the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford, and Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science.

Dr. Owen left Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science to attend law school at Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, NH, where she earned her law degree. She is currently a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia.
