Dr. Khaki attended the University of Tehran for her undergraduate and graduate coursework from 2004-2011. She finished her bachelor's degree in zoology in 2008, then proceeded to complete her master's degree in cellular and developmental biology in 2011. Dr. Khaki worked for University of Tehran for one year before migrating to the United States in 2013, then proceed to complete her PharmD at ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ School of Pharmacy (2014-2018).

Dr. Khaki completed a postgraduate year one general pharmacy practice residency with ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ/ Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. She had the opportunity to teach didactic/elective courses as a part of her residency and has earned a teaching certificate through ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ School of Pharmacy.

Dr. Khaki is very interested in research and spends a good amount of her time on different research projects. She has completed research projects during her pharmacy school and residency year in conjunction with her colleagues at ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ. Research projects include:

  • Development of a drug delivery system to deliver Xanthohumol to adipose tissues.
  • Evaluating the compatibility of norepinephrine bitartrate with various antibiotics for simulated Y administration.
  • Medication use evaluation of intravenous acetaminophen in surgical patients.
  • Evaluating the impact of two vancomycin dosing frequencies on the incidence of acute kidney injury.

Dr. Khaki and her husband Mohamad live in Suwanee. She is very interested in medical/educational mission trips and providing educational tools and resources for students in areas of need.
