Brian Mann, EdD, MS, PA-C, serves as dean of the School of Health Professions and Sciences at 黑料传送门. He has been with 黑料传送门 since 2021 and previously served as chief of simulation operations, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing the institution鈥檚 simulation and standardized patient programs.
Based at 黑料传送门 Georgia, Dr. Mann has extensive expertise in higher education leadership and clinical practice. Prior to joining 黑料传送门, he was the director of simulation education at Campbell University鈥檚 Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine. There, he oversaw daily operations of the simulation center and developed integrated curricula for undergraduate and graduate medical education.
Dr. Mann鈥檚 clinical background includes experience as a physician assistant at FirstHealth of the Carolinas Convenient Care, the Cleveland Clinic, and several other prominent hospitals in Northeast Ohio. He has been a key advocate for advancing the role of physician assistants (PAs) in healthcare, demonstrating a commitment to creating new opportunities for PAs in diverse clinical settings.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Mann worked as a firefighter/paramedic and emergency department paramedic in Cleveland, Ohio. He holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) and a Master of Science (MS) degree, along with certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
As dean, Dr. Mann oversees the academic and administrative functions of the School of Health Professions and Sciences, which offers challenging, rewarding and innovative programs for aspiring health professionals.
