    Kathleen E. Ackert, DO ’20

    Minimally Invasive Gynecology Fellow, Mount Sinai Hospital
    Dr. Ackert specializes in fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, infertility, endometriosis, and chronic pelvic pain. She is the first DO to match Mount Sinai’s Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Complex Benign Gynecology fellowship.


    Channa Blakely, DO ’19

    Vascular Surgery Assistant Professor, University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston
    Dr. Blakely is the first ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ graduate to match an integrated vascular surgery residency and the first African American woman and DO in UTMB’s vascular surgery program.


    Chad Gordon, DO ’02, FNPS

    Professor and Director of Neuroplastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine
    Dr. Gordon was the first DO plastic surgeon trained at the Cleveland Clinic and helped lead the nation’s first craniofacial transplant. A pioneer in neuroplastic surgery, he holds 21 patents, leads first-in-human studies, and is founder and chief medical officer of CraniUS, developer of the NeuroPASS™ device.


    Marcin A. Jankowski, DO ’05, RES ’10, MBA, CPE, FACOS, FACS, CPHQ

    System Surgical Quality Officer and Vice Chair for Surgical Quality, Patient Safety and Performance Improvement, ChristianaCare
    Dr. Jankowski leads system-wide initiatives in surgical quality, patient safety, and performance improvement, strengthening compliance, reducing patient harm, and advancing excellence in surgery.


    Meredith Perry Jankowski, DO ’06, CPE, FACOS, FACS

    Division Chief of Urology, Shore Medical Group; Senior Partner and COO, Jersey Urology Group
    Dr. Jankowski is a urologic surgeon and the first female division chief at Shore Medical Center. A U.S. Navy veteran, she served with the Marine Corps in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom.


    Francis P. Sutter, DO ’76

    Chief of Cardiac Surgery, Lankenau Medical Center, Main Line Health
    Dr. Sutter is a leader in robotic and beating-heart cardiac surgery. A pioneer of minimally invasive coronary bypass, he has performed over 2,700 robotic-assisted CABG procedures—more than any surgeon worldwide—and is the first DO to earn MD board certification in cardiothoracic surgery.


    Michael G. Tecce, DO ’15

    Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Main Line Health
    Dr. Tecce was the first DO to match into integrated plastic surgery. He brings cutting-edge reconstructive and aesthetic techniques to the community, restoring both form and function after injury or cancer.
